Private Detour was born from a simple conviction: the best moments of travel rarely happen where everyone is standing.

They happen one street over, behind the gilded gate, inside the covered passage, at the dealer's stall in a market alley most visitors never reach. Paris rewards the traveler who turns off the main route, and that turn is much easier with someone who knows the way.

So we made that our whole craft. We are a small Paris tour company, and small by design: every tour is private, every route is composed for the people taking it, and nothing is read from a script. Before you arrive, we ask what you love. On the day, your guide shapes each hour around your pace, your curiosity, and the city as it actually is: unhurried, intimate and quietly spectacular.
